La Pashma is a brand rich in heritage and traditional Kashmiri culture dating back to 1880 when the Shaw family first entered into the trade of Kashmiri cultural handicrafts.
In 1880 the first company founded by the Late Ghulam Mahideen Shaw was known as Peer Sons that pioneered in the trade followed by which in the early 1900s Shaw brothers was founded by the Late Haji Ghulam Shaw and his brothers Bahudin Shaw and Meerak Shaw.
In the 1950s Shaw Sons came into inception by the sons of the Late Haji Ghulam Shaw namely Late Shafi Shaw, Late Yaseen Shaw, Late Amin Shaw, Late Mahideen Shaw and Late Abdul Rasheed Shaw. Late Haji Amin Shaw founded KCI Emporium in the 1980s pioneered and taken forward by his son Shoukat Amin Shaw. This legacy is carried forward as La Pashma founded by Moeen Shaw, the 5th generation of a family rich to their roots in this trade.
